9/11: Never Again in Newton

  • The horror of September 11, 2001 was compounded for Newton residents by the loss of friends and family and by the knowledge that some of the hijackers spent their last night at a hotel in Newton. City government was unable to protect our (and other citizens) from the horrendous danger that they constituted because the Federal government had never warned us about them. As the War on Terrorism continues, our national government has the names and pictures of some potential threats.  We need to post them at post offices, libraries, and hotels so that citizens can be aware of possible dangers and inform law enforcement agencies. Until this is done in Newton and elsewhere, I urge you to visit the following sites and watch for the people pictured:
