Austin Street Community Meeting
The Aldermen from Ward 2 in collaboration with the Department of Planning and Development are co‐hosting a community meeting regarding possible future development on the Austin Street Municipal Parking Lot in Newtonville. As you may know, six development teams have submitted plans i response to a Request for Proposals for a mixed‐use development on this site that includes parking, housing, commercial and public spaces in the heart of the village. At his event, the developers will present their proposals and answer questions about their projects. The public is invited to attend, meet the developers, and learn more about these proposals. Developers will also learn more about community concerns. Date: October 30, 2013 Time: Doors open for viewing of displays at 5:30 p.m.
Presentations will begin at 6:30 p.m.
- Question and answer period begins at 9 p.m.
- Place: Newton North High School Cafeteria

Format: Each of the development teams will make a 20‐ minute presentation followed by questions, answers and comments facilitated by the project evaluation team.
